Hello There!
A Bit About Me
My name is Caroline Cabe, and I am a creative writer, journalist, editor, copywriter, and lover of puzzles (seriously, it's becoming a problem). I studied Rhetoric and Writing at the University of Texas at Austin and have since gained professional experience in multiple facets of the writing world.

My love for storytelling started on Day One. I was raised by a family of local theatre artists in Fort Worth, Texas, and grew up with a deep love for the arts. As a child, I struggled significantly with reading comprehension, attending specialized reading classes and intensives to stay on track with my fellow students. However, this did not stop me from pursing my love of storytelling; and, by the 5th grade, I had succeeded in multiple school-wide and regional creative writing competitions. I then headed off to continue honing my love for storytelling at Fort Worth Academy of Fine Arts, where I studied drama, voice, and dance along with creative writing. It was there that I realized I had a knack for telling stories.

After graduating from high school, I studied film at The New School in Manhattan for a year before realizing that writing was my calling. I transferred to the University of Texas at Austin where I have since received a B.A. in Rhetoric and Writing with a History and Creative Writing double minor. After graduation, I hit the ground running as a journalist and copywriter. I have written for multiple magazines and literary journals, including Texas Music, Concho River Review, and Austin Monthly, and have crafted long and short form copy for company blogs, social media pages, and newsletters. I currently serve as the Digital Editor for Cowboys & Indians Magazine in Dallas, Texas, where I write and edit compelling content that reflects the Western lifestyle and Indigenous culture. Okay, enough about me! Have fun exploring my website!
